The Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation was established in June 1985 by the late Honorary Chairman Noboru Shibuya, who founded Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., through a donation of his personal property to support the education of children as the future leaders of the world.

Since its establishment, the Foundation has provided scholarship loans to high school and university students, as well as support for educational institutions, local organizations that conduct cultural promotion initiatives, and organizations that conduct activities contributing to the healthy upbringing of youth and addressed the problems of school absenteeism among children and students.

We are pleased to announce that the Foundation was certified as a public interest incorporated foundation by the Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture and made a fresh start after changing our name to “The Shibuya Ikueikai Foundation” as of January 4, 2013.

We continue our support activities contributing to the promotion of education and culture for the healthy development of local communities.
